Rudy is a clown, but what Trump is doing must be seen as blatant election interference on a scale NEVER before seen in the history of this country. Can anyone show any other example of the president calling election officials of a state to convince them to retract their certification of votes? And then invite representatives of that state’s legislature to the White House for a little meeting? NO! If Republican Congress members don’t stand up right now and tell him to stop, they will have once and for all shown the world that they are cowardly and corrupt beyond redemption.
Hard to imagine that “covid deaths” would be first to trumps mind.. I would have bet a doughnut it would have been something about adoring crowds at his rallies.
I read that Trump has convinced his Republican base that Fox is too liberal and these people are moving over to Newsmax and OANN for their information. Millions of Americans are now in a cult led by a mean, stupid and vindictive child… does anyone else feel like we are in a Game of Thrones saga?
“That’s all I hear about now. That’s all I hear. Turn on television—’Covid, Covid, Covid, Covid, Covid, Covid.’ A plane goes down. 500 people dead, they don’t talk about it,” Trump told his supporters at a campaign rally in Lumberton, North Carolina, on October 24th. “Covid, Covid, Covid, Covid.’ By the way, on November 4, you won’t hear about it anymore,”
Why would it even occur to Trump to link ANY number with COVID deaths? His response in the cartoon above would be more accurate if it was something like “New Twitter Followers?” or “More donations?”
You’ll notice that Trump’s lap lawyers DON’T make insane claims in courtrooms—because perjury tends to have consequences. (Well, not for two Supreme Court Injustices I can think of…..) They make insane claims in speeches—the downside of shutting down so many asylums way back when.
Trump is not doing this in isolation. He has the backing of the Republican Party. A party that is terrified of its base turning on it. You reap what you sow.

“That’s ok”, replies Trump, “Change a word, or grammatical punctuation, in all 250,000,000 Lawsuits and resubmit them”.

Sorry Mr. Ohman but Biggest Loser Trump wouldn’t be paying attention to the number of COVFEFE-45 deaths his lack of leadership has contributed.
