Caffeine is very bitter in taste. So bitter, in fact, that coffee and tea plants use it as a defense mechanism. Animals don’t want to eat them because they taste terrible. And that’s in small doses.
In large doses, caffeine can kill. That’s the other reason plants use it to defend themselves.
This isn’t an attack on caffeine. I’m drinking tea while I write this. Your coffee or tea has a very, very small dose of the drug, which is why it’s delicious. But artificially adding mega doses of caffeine is a bad idea.
I’m sure Adam’s caffeine-infused masks are going to involve wacky hijinks. In the real world, they’re more likely to put him in the Emergency Room.
