Silly. But I’m happy to see Thanksgiving getting some mention instead of jumping straight to Xmas, as e.g. Gorrell has done.

What is that strangely dressed man doing to that poor innocent bird? Oh yeah, that forgotten holiday that starts with a “T” after Halloween when all Xmas decorations go up! /s.

Since Trump is in day 16 of his election temper tantrum, I wonder if he’ll bother with the ceremony this year.

Who here understands that a negative test means you weren’t infected at the time you took the test?

Republicans don’t believe in testing, they want to spread covid to every American family over the holidays, its their last chance to kill people.

That’s OK, roasting is sure to kill the virus as long as you make sure it’s heated throughout the bird.

Trump’s coronavirus adviser Scott Atlas suggests people should invite their elderly relatives to Thanksgiving because it might be their last

Scott Atlas attacked lockdowns for ‘isolating’ people, including the elderly

He then hinted that people should invite their elderly relatives for Thanksgiving ‘For many people this is their final Thanksgiving,’ he said, ‘we have to have a policy… which is not just about stopping cases of Covid’

This comes after Atlas told people in Michigan should ‘rise up’ against lockdown

Donald Trump’s coronavirus adviser has suggested that people should invite their elderly relatives for Thanksgiving because it might be their last.

His harsh advice contradicts that of most public health experts who have advised families not to gather for fear of spreading Covid.

Dr Scott Atlas, a neuroradiologist with no experience in public health, made the remark as he attacked lockdowns on Fox News for ‘isolating’ people.

‘This kind of isolation is [also] a tragedy of the elderly who are now being told "don’t see your family at Thanksgiving",’ he told host Martha MacCallum.

‘For many people this is their final Thanksgiving, believe it or not. We have to have a policy… which is a whole person policy. It’s not just about stopping cases of Covid.’

The advice runs counter to that issued by Anthony Fauci, America’s top infectious disease adviser since 1984, who said people need to avoid large gatherings this year – especially those involving the elderly.

‘People should be very careful about social gatherings, particularly when members of the family might be at a risk because of their age,’ he said last month.

‘You may have to bite the bullet and sacrifice that social gathering unless you’re pretty certain that the people that you’re dealing with are not infected.’

And Denmark is now experiencing an outbreak of bird-flu.

Farmers are being told to keep their chickens indoors. Will there soon be a shortage of “free range” chickens?

This one is too easy. Pardoning a turkey. Gerald Ford set a precedent when he pardoned Nixon. Gobble gobble!
