Juiced up on hate and self-pity, the Wolverine Watchmen, the Boogaloo Bois, Proud Boys, and Qanon, are certainly not admirable for their beliefs or their threatening behavior. Meanwhile, the Trumpian party gives them cover and encouragement.

She’s almost right. What kept my fellow Democrats from winning a Senate majority and losing House seats were: defund police, riots on the nightly news and not countering the socialist label. This is what the exit polls said.

“Defund the police” means that the exorbitant amounts of money spent on militarizing the police would be more useful if it was spent on schools, after-school programs, mental health support, and community programs.

I don’t think that either side can really claim they crushed the other, tight races all around in a very divided country.
