I do remember those days. Remember when there was no Covid-19 pandemic? Remember when the REASON you could talk politics was because everybody was talking about how to make the WHOLE NATION better, and they weren’t talking about the Dow Jones when they said that?
Oh, and remember the good old days when being gay was enough to get you run out of town? When being female meant that you were EXPECTED to marry and be a homemaker? When falling in love with someone outside your religion (much less your skin color) was enough to get you disowned? (My cousin, protestant Christian family married her true love, Jewish family. Her father refused to attend…)
Sad isn’t it… when old folk forget and let their imagination of the past take over. Religion and politics were two subjects never to be discussed in public.
Remember the good ol’ days when people weren’t dying left and right because the president would hold super spreaders and make fun of people wearing masks. Remember when we had presidents who weren’t a death cult leader.
Remember when Republican controlled legislatures refused to allow the mail in votes to even be opened before 11/3? Here in WI Sen. Ron Johnson® even said they should. But then you couldn’t complain it’s taking too long, right?
Yea, I remember the long lines, and voter suppression. Results could be tallied on election night because a lot of polls closed while the working class voters were still standing in line to vote. Early voting should be the norm from this point forward.

Remember the good old days when no one ever said they wouldn’t accept the results of the election and wouldn’t submit to a peaceful transfer of power?

Remember when elections were decided in a day? It’s been the exception, not the rule.

Elections have never been decided in a day. Counting has continued after election day for time immemorial.

Republicans foul everything up in a desperate attempt to cheat, lie and steal the election.

The last 150,000 American deaths could have been avoided if you had run this in January. Better late than never.

The good old days when an American president would respond to a pandemic, instead of the POS we have now?

The good old days when our President didn’t abuse his power… or the good old days when the congress would hold him accountable if he did?

Somebody here suggesting we have to stop the count? #EveryVoteCounts, that’s why we’re Americans, goddam it!

Remember the good old days before republicans spread covid everywhere?
Every time I go to the supermarket I’m risking my life thanks to right wing idiots.
I still can’t believe 67 million voted for more covid in America.
It used to be that we ended pandemics, and were not suicidal enough to embrace them.

Elections were never always decided in a day. Sounds like more Rump propaganda. The 2000 election took until December.

That’s how I feel these days. A $1,000 fine is a good incentive to the dangerous fools.
