Rain storms like that are normal in Minecraft.
It will be raining in a non-desert biome and one meter away, in a desert, by bone dry.
On the farm when I was young we called those “shotgun showers”. You would lay your double barreled shotgun against the barbed wire fence and when you came back one barrel would be full of water and the other would be bone dry!
Beside that would really smart gettin’ hit by a bunch of cats and dogs.
Be careful you don’t step in a poodle while you’re catching winks!!!
When Broomie goes crazy, Nerwin will want to go along, too.
I think I detect a whole swarm of winks around here! I’ll catch me some, too!
