It is ironic that some the countries that seem to be doing the best with the pandemic are in Central Africa – they have been dealing with pandemics for so long, that Covid-19 is just the latest in a line of familiar enemies. They know how to deal with it.
We taught them how to deal with these outbreaks. Maybe it’s time we learn something from them.
The situation is not unlike what would have occurred if my granny’s birthday cake had been decorated along similar lines had wiser heads not prevailed.
