Perhaps an alternative is to “defund” the police – or more appropriately state, fund mental health and alternative response systems to mental health issues?Also maybe equip the police with non-lethal options?

So where is the cartoon showing Philadelphia police shooting unarmed people?

What are the chances 2 or 3 trained police officers couldn’t disarm a disillusioned man wielding a knife? And if they can’t, just what kind of training are they getting?

Vote out the rotten police state republicans who do nothing about people being shot by the police. They want more ‘law and order’ to force you to do what they want.

At least the officer with the knife in his chest can walk away from the incident, but the black guy will hardly walk away from ten shots to his body.

I went through our local Citizens Police Academy training, and one of the demonstrations showed a person attacking with a knife. It was shocking to see how quickly they moved forward, and how quickly the police had to make a split-second decision regarding what to do. If it’s a choice of getting stabbed to death or shooting the attacker, it’s a no-brainer.

Might be more sympathetic if not for the cops like the ones who killed George Floyd and the police unions who protect them.

Yessirree… a measured reponse to a man with a knife. 2 cops with loaded guns. 7 shots from each cop. Danger de-escalated and terminated. Reforms needed.

The only reforms needed are for citizens that break the law or attack police officers. Other than that everything is cool. BTW a criminal breaking the law, who is shot and killed is not an invitation to get in your car, drive over to Best Buy, Walmart or the neighborhood liquor store and to steal everything that you can carry out. You are morally bankrupt people, and the nation see’s it.

Seems pretty honest and accurate to me. What do you see wrong with it?
