Is the middle class suddenly defined by people who make over $400k a year?

Man, I thought I was middle class, I guess I was paying attention to the wrong reality instead of the (alt)-“right” reality.

Under trumps tax cuts my taxes went from $2500 to $4000 in a year. Didn’t earn more, just paid more (probably to cover golf trips). And before any of the trumpanzees chime in, I don’t have anything taken out, so I did not earn more at the start.

An excellent cartoon, Mr. Summers. You have understood perfectly that it’s a requirement for Republicans to lie. We’d never win another election otherwise.

Republicans HAVE to lie.. When people are given a choice of two statements on issues that actually affect their everyday life, one that describes the Republican position and the other the Democrat’s, the Democratic position is chosen by about 80% of Democrats and Independents. No surprise there. The weird part is that just under half of Republicans also choose Democrat positions, unless they are told which position is supported by each party. Then they fall into line and choose the Republican option- 78% of the time. So, it is entirely reasonable for Republicans to lie a lot. The people running the Republican party are in that half of the Republicans who actually believe in Republican positions. They are roughly 25% of the voting public. They have no chance of ever winning a national election unless they keep as many people as possible from voting and keep the rest of them confused enough to vote against their own best interests.

Mitch McConnell just adjourned the Senate until November 9, ending the prospect of additional coronavirus relief until after the election

Mitch knows that Biden will likely become the next president. He is intentionally leaving a mess for the democrats to clean up, like always… every Democratic President in my lifetime has had a major economic crisis left to them by the outgoing GOP President. Carter, Clinton, Obama, and hopefully Biden. Each GOP President has come into office with a relatively prosperous economy (yes, even Reagan). Which they then proceeded to trash and crash.

Conservative voters have the brains of goldfish.

That would be great if it was all the tax cuts big businesses and millionaires got.

So, income over $400,000 is now “middle class”? The Republicans, my former party, have turned into a pack of lying hypocrites. As misguided as the Democrats sometimes are, it’s in the best interest of the country that Trump, Mitch, and the rest of the spineless butt kissers go down to a resounding defeat.

    Another Summers cartoon, another LIE.

Trump and His Disciples, like Summers, are on a mission to eliminate all black votes. They absolutely HATE the idea of blacks being allowed to vote.

    .

Republicans* all want to go back to the 50s, Their only difference is whether to go back to the 1950s or the 1850s.

The Trump tax CUTS??? were designed to hurt as many Dems as possible. Most Middle class Dems live in High tax areas like California and the east cost.

I live in a Wealthy area of a Red state so my Local taxes are high.

The cap to Salt ( State and local taxes) deductions made my Taxes go UP by $3,000

Summers has Biden saying, “Hand over your Trump tax cuts.”

Nope. Biden is smarter than that. He knows that that would mean that he would have to pay out millions — maybe even billions — of dollars.
