they’re right, though. Nothing wrong with throwing it out of the window. Providing you have a big enough window. Plus well, just water your tree so it won’t get that dry :D

There was a story on the news last night that REAL trees are selling like hotcakes this year. People are feeling depressed and sad over the last months and a real tree helps lift the spirits. I’m thinking about it myself…..except that I no longer have lights and don’t really want to buy any. My fake tree has lights built in.

I live on the 6th floor. I had a bed bug problem and no one to help me haul furniture out of my unit. I went to each apartment below mine and warned them and one volunteered to stand watch so no one would get close while i threw my furniture off the balcony. Still got hassled by the landlord, but at least i made sure no one got hurt.

The ornament doesn’t fall far from the tree.

For those who get a real tree. Go buy a tree bag. It’s a super sized plastic bag. Put it under the tree stand while the tree is up to avoid spills. When you take the tree out of the stand, pull the bag up over the tree to take it out. It doesn’t eliminate all the fall out, but it does help. Having 2 people helps. One to lift up the tree, another to remove the stand.
