Saw a FB post from a Trumpette in Wisconsin encouraging people to get a mail-in ballot and send it in. Then go to the polls in person to negate the mail-in and re-vote. What was missing was WHY and the only answer would be to interfere with others trying to vote. According to what I read, WI voters can change their votes three times before the election. IMO this is a recipe for fraud and is likely to eliminate the privacy in voting.
There is an agreement out there called “National Popular Vote Interstate Compact” where 14 states and 196 Electoral Votes are pledged to the winner of the National Popular Vote, no matter how the state voters vote. These states include CA, NY, MA, RI, CT, OR, WA, IL, DC and a handful of others.
It is intended to uphold a Democratic candidate. It was usually pushed through when Democrats held the legislature and governor’s seat, so people didn’t get to vote on it.
This may backfire if Trump is able to win the Popular vote and these states are forced to give their Electoral votes to him, giving him an almost unanimous Electoral College win. Imagine how arrogant he will be then…
No matter who becomes president, at first, I always give him—and maybe her someday—the benefit of the doubt. I always hope that they will live up to the office and do some good things. Sometimes they do pretty well, and sometimes they fail to such an extent that it makes me want to weep for our country.

I tried to laugh at first, thinking, “how bad could it be?”. I have not been laughing now for almost four years. More like weeping for our democracy.

The American people were tired of Trump after 10 days when his ratings dropped and they never got any higher.

Abhorred him from day one. Put him back in one of his towers and totally out of the Oval Office big time and forever.

I see the trump administration more as a chronic abscess on the body politic about to be drained. Not very pretty, but here we are.

Good news. Not seeing so many of these like 4 years ago in my little town and neck of the Hoosier state. I do see more Biden signs than Hillary signs.
Foot on the gas.

It’s more of a tragedy, not a comedy.

The world will laugh, but I’m not sure USA will. Whatever the result, there might be violences and chaos for a while.
