Other than maybe some light rain asmr(and not “tinny”), Ambient sleep sounds aren’t relaxing. The high pitched ambient sounds are annoying. Delta waves for sleep.
Me: “Computer (I renamed my Alexa), play ambient sounds, babbling brook.”the sounds of someone having taken a decent quality recorder out by the brook on their country farm land plays, and I fall asleep quickly, even with a headache
My sister lives in the country, but she has an African Grey parrot (Greg) that is real good at telephone rings, microwave beeps, trucks backing up, door bell chimes, iPhone ring tones, whistling the Adams Family theme (ok, I will let him get away with that one). He can bark like the dogs, meow like the cat, repeat arguments, say good bye in almost everyone’s voice, screech at just about any decibel level and range, and a whole bunch more. My sister is not sure she actually left the city.
