I’ve never understood how they came up with the idea of pinatas. I mean, who first thought it would be a good idea to give a blunt instrument to a blindfolded, disoriented child and tell them to start swinging it at a candy-stuffed paper animal? Not to mention the fact that there’s usually a bunch of other kids waiting within bat range to pounce on the spilled candy.
