He got up to look for something then WHAM he walked thru a doorway and forgot what it was he was looking for.

Looking for his glasses again.

I used to tell my kids, “Yes, I know everything. I just can’t remember it all at once.”

Both my children are over 40 and they STILL call the old man (me) their walking encyclopedia (with good reason, I might add.)

The trouble with doing to many things at once ! Walk out and come back in … sometimes that works ;-)

I used to have an eidetic memory for the location of objects. I could visualize the spot on my desk where I would find it. Then I got married…and things were never where I left them.
