I went to a couple of schools who had a bunch of those… mostly in the library. With this current pandemic… I wonder if they are a permanent feature in most of the classes.

Due to the placement of my cubicle, I get to claim a nice big piece of territory outside it for myself.

First Wizard of I’d went to a generic computer font, now BC. Sigh… there are great people out there who will make a great digital font from your own lettering style

I interviewed at a company that had a large warehouse floor filled with cubes. It reminded me of a big spreadsheet occupied by humans.

    I live in cube AA126.

Last year my company spent thousands of dollars converting to an open concept. Since March they’ve spent thousands of dollars putting up dividers.

What’s the connection between cubicles and calling H.R.?

Some time, just before I retire, I swear I am going to get some paper towel cardboard tubes, tape them together and paint them black and put them up across the entrance to whatever cubicle I have by then for a day. Pictures will be encouraged and mass media will be engaged. Prison cubicle guy, me.

wouldn’t want to be an ‘office space’ realtor. Cubicles are not the only empty spaces these days. Whole buildings are dark and many are likely to remain that way until well after CV-19 has been at least partially cured.

Work from home will become a major segment of the market. Home buyers will be looking for adaptable spaces instead of extra bedrooms, more efficient kitchens and facilities, and better neighborhood internet access.

Whoever invented the cubicle is one of our biggest public enemies.

I sort of miss my cubicle in the office for one reason. My cubicle is about four times larger than the space I have to work in at home. It also has 3-4 times more desk surface. My home setup was never intended for real work but I am having to make it work for me.

The new theory in these times is worse than cubicles. You come into the office several times a week, but ‘your’ desk isn’t there anymore. You take a desk that is available and you clean it out at the end of the day and next time you may get some other desk

I remember those things before I got my own office, the noisy farting guy next door and that they remind me of retroreflectors.

And this shows why the machines left to educate them are malfunctioning so odd ball things are created without the accompanying context like a business for that cubical.
