It’s true that non-citizens pay Social Security taxes (FICA withholding) that they’ll never benefit from, but my guess is that they can take advantage of the schools, roads, fire departments, libraries, subsidized transit, etc. that their property taxes help support. And that’s as it should be. Those are public goods that should be freely available to all, regardless of ability to pay.
Thought that there would be militiamen using their 2nd Amendment rights to “watch” and “protect” voting places from “liberals voting to destroy America”, but ever since the NRA’s legal and organizational problems lately they have been strangely quiet and absent…
