The President and the First Lady have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

I’m just waiting for all the compassionate remarks TTDB readers will come up with. Myself, I wish both The President and the First Lady a speedy recovery.

If only trump and his consort had had any compassion for anyone but themselves.

The timing seems convenient. Can avoid debate with new rules. Can distract from all the other s…tuff that’s been hitting the fan. May even pick up some sympathy.

Apart from the old (fake?) news of t’rumps tweet, i would like to comment on another brilliant set of comics from Ruben Bolling. Brilliant. Kudos, Mr. Bolling.

Fake news, he is too scared to appear at another disastrous debate. And just wait, he will have a miraculous cure and say it’s just a bad cold and will all go away by election date.

The pressure’s on. Bolling has a week to prepare something spectacular.

You mean the Hydroxychloroquine doesn’t work, after Trump touted it? I’m shocked, I tell you. Shocked.

Of course all should wish Trump and his family well, just as much as we would anyone else with a potentially life threatening condition, to do otherwise would be inhumane, petty and low. Now, to the comic of the day, one of my favorite daydreams has Trump boarding Marine Force One on Jan 20 and being flown directly from his “fort” to Riker’s Island for arraignment.

The best thing for the nation’s battle with Covid is for tRump to have a severe case, and maybe for Pence to test positive as well. Perhaps the fear of even being close to having President Pelosi will finally get the tRumpsters to take the pandemic seriously.

What is likely is a worst case scenario where he is asymptomatic and comes back and orders all restrictions lifted “because it’s no big deal”. This is likely because, unlike everyone else, he gets tested daily. His Covid was detected in the first 24 hours, when anti-viral agents are most effective. When it comes to medical care, it’s good to be the king.

Bolling has once again hit the proverbial nail on the deadhead. Magalamania (sic) aside, Hair Fürher is desperate to hold onto power because so long as he’s POTUS he is practically bullet-proof from lawsuits, creditors, and criminal prosecution. The day he is dragged from Office, kicking and screaming, he’s vulnerable.

We know that the reason he won’t release his tax returns is that it might disclose that he really isn’t as wealthy as he claims. He’s up to his neck in debt from foreign loans – which come due in the next couple of years. The Emperor Has No Clothes ( and a lot less net worth than he brags about ).

I said this at another comic but I have a tune from The Sound of Music in my head. “Schadenfreude” heard to the tune of EdelWeiss.

Spot on today! I tried watching the debate….soon as the Trumpy tossed the first insult name….I couldn’t watch anymore. I knew it was off the rails at that point. Now he gots the Covid19…..let’s see what he chooses as treatment….hydro yadayada, bleach, or a bright light up his butt.

Mr. Bolling, I love you today’s strip! You captured the way Calvin and Hobbes move and talk into your characters while bringing the full crazy of Trump into that universe. AND you made me laugh with the antics, not just cringe!
