With apologies to the people in California, for us that are up in New York State in the middle of October, sitting around a friendly fire like that roasting Smores sounds like paradise this year of lockdown.
Although I love your strip, the cartoon on Oct. 17th was tasteless. I don’t think the term “friendly fire” is used other than when a mistake is made and either our military troops or law enforcement hits their own forces or allies. Probably wounding or killing someone. Not funny.
