I’m hoping that Amesworth, already absorbed with the network, will easily make the connection. The questions I have are 1) will the passage go smoothly, 2) will she easily be able to bring Wally & Co. with her, 3) will the toothbrushes interfere with the trip, and 4) will Ted try to take advantage of the situation?

I expect (and hope) for things to go FUBAR in true Endtown fashion.

Well, looks like at least their end is open. Hope Wally, Amesworth and the rest make it through before the toothbrushes get them.

I expect that in addition to our fearsome foursome, the topsiders will receive a few toothbrushes— and hopefully a whole lot of dittos.

Imagine the eye subverting the toothbrushes… oh what fun we will have!

I hope they’re not too surprised by what comes through.

That group isn’t unfamiliar with anthros, having watched Ravencroft come into being, so they probably aren’t inclined to shoot first and ask questions later.

This suggests that there is a shared timeline between all of the realities, the common thread tying all of these dimensions together.

This contrasts with the news items this week suggesting time travel is possible, but changing the past is not possible. (https://www.npr.org/2020/09/27/917556254/paradox-free-time-travel-is-theoretically-possible-researchers-say) Those articles suggest a single reality with a single time line. But Amesworth is traveling through gates to multiple realities with a shared timeline.

OK, I officially think too much about this strip now.

“Amesworth had better be ready!” Are they referring to “it’ll-take-as-long-as-it-takes” Amesworth?

If they are able to retrieve the team, will Wally and friends avoid having their brains being placed in robot dog bodies?
