Merrick Garland. lindsey and miych saying a justice should not be chosen in an election year. Eight months and not 40 some days before the election. SUPERHYPOCRITES.

Ramirez, what was your position when back in 2016 Republicans insisted that there should be no vote on a Supreme Court nominee in an election year ? What’s your position now, when it’s not just an election year, but voting has already started ? Uh, hypocrisy.

An elephant is one of the few mammals that cannot jump, defining “jump” as getting all four feet off the ground simultaneously. But it makes a good cartoon, like so many of Mr. Ramirez’s drawings, even if it is totally devoid of reality, honesty, or logic.

I think this one ought to earn Ramirez a visit to the White House. It really sums up Trump’s approach to governance. And ironically, Ramirez thinks he showing us what losers we are, when really it shows just how bad the GOP is.

The picture reminded me of Charles Barkley. Why doesn’t he run for office on the Republican ticket? I would vote for him. Even have a slogan: “Give Chuck a Chance”.

Like any honorable judge.. surely she will recuse herself given she was hired to rule on the very thing she was hired for. So, we will see if.. she has values.. or, is a mere piece of meat trump has purchased for his pleasure.

Step Right Up folks and see the Hypocrite…..

Here is the opportunity to see Mikey Ramirez’s Cartoon from Feb 18th to claim that Obama is a Hypocrite and Feb 23 about Obama’s Lack of Respect for Scalia.

But the BEST is the cartoon from Feb 24th 2016 of Obama cutting up the Constitution to make a Supreme court Pick.

I STILL don’t understand how Obamas selecting Merck Garland was an attack on the Constitution but OK.

So Mikey You are Just as Hypocritical as Lindsey Gram who swore we could “Use my words against me”

You are Truly the enemy of Democracy.

A reporter approached Speaker Pelosi and asked if the Democratic majority in the House (and minority in the Senate) would pursue impeachment of Trump (and/or Attorney General Barr) if they nominate a justice before the election (or the “lame duck” Congress between Election Day and holiday recess). Pelosi replied, “No, but we still have plenty of arrows in our quiver.” Meaning the Democrats might be able to delay nomination and run out the clock by Election Day. So, stay tuned.

Until the Center Left realizes you can’t have essentially three parties, mainstream Dems, the Socialist Revolution Party & the inexplicable Green Party, this will keep happening. The Greens gifted two current SCOTUS seats to Republicans via Nader and now three more via Jill Stein whose votes received in WI, MI and Pennsylvania exceeded Trump’s margin of victory in those states. The electoral votes in those three states were Trump’s margin of victory.

Here are the Official Rules for Supreme Court nominations during a presidential election year:

    1. If the president & the senate are controlled by the same party, the nomination is made & confirmed.

2 If the president & the senate are controlled by different parties, the nomination is made & not confirmed.

    3. The losing party will claim those aren’t the rules.

    4. They are.

“No one should be surprised that a Republican Senate majority would vote on a Republican President’s Supreme Court nomination, even during a presidential election year. The Constitution gives senators the power to do it. The voters who elected them expect it. Going back to George Washington, the Senate has confirmed many nominees to the Supreme Court during a presidential election year. It has refused to confirm several when the President and Senate majority were of different parties. Senator [Mitch] McConnell is only doing what Democrat leaders have said they would do if the shoe were on the other foot.”
