the Electoral College is a difficult problem and I can see some points to both sides; but I can’t see any benefit to the filibuster. As long as a guaranteed minimum time allotment is available for all to debate; the filibuster serves no purpose other than to obstruct the legislative process.

The electoral college needs to go, republicans are buying electors to cheat with.

The republicans killed the filibuster on judges. It’s all but lost any value it once had. The electoral college is a way for rural states to have an an outsize impact. Wyoming has one vote for every 200,000 people. California gets one for every 700,000 people. That’s fair, only if you are a republican…..
