The appointment of additional Federalist Society judges for life, affecting the interpretation of the Constitution and U.S. laws towards their skewed viewpoints.

Vote Blue of course, but also send some money to a Democrat or Democrats that appeal to you in close Senate races. We don’t have any senatorial race here in Oregon, so I sent my money to South Carolina and Montana.

One would think it be the wish of all Americans to have a “president”.. not some buffoon doing a version of his Apprenticeship Show.

Sadly, the only fervent wishes that trump would pay any attention to would be his own.

Let’s hope for a 1932 or 1980 style of an election where the incumbent gets a crushing and humiliating defeat.

It is terribly sad to me that the image of large black birds feasting on the entrails of corrupt politicians is not displeasing these days. Well, it’s at least a little sad. If they’re still alive. Well… It’s not like I’d sell tickets. Aw heck, actually I might and donate to a campaign to end the War on the Poor and Racism & Sexism. Being polite has not seemed to make things better over the past few decades.

Back in 2017, when the new administration moved into the White House, they found detailed playbooks for every situation they were likely to encounter, left behind by the (competent!) outgoing Obama administration. Since YouKnowWho had apparently never expected to win election, he had essentially no transition team; in theory Chris Christie was heading one up, but there was almost no substance below that. And when they arrived, they basically ignored everything that the “secret Muslim” had ever laid his eyes on. Fortunately, there are probably copies of all those playbooks available for when the new guys take over in January, because the current bunch isn’t likely to be responsible enuf to prepare any, and they’d be of extremely dubious value if they did. We’ve essentially had a 4-year hole in the continuity of responsible Executive Branch governance.

I saw a TV ad wherein the “Senate Leadership Committee” was claiming a Democratic candidate was lying in his campaign ads. Based on that alone, I couldn’t tell if they were opposing or endorsing said candidate.

So what you’re saying in other words OldCoal, is Trump is going to use every possible trick to win reelection? I already know the answer to that but I figured I’d ask anyway.
