She was brilliant and easy to like and admire. If only R.I.P. meant: Return If Possible…….

She was 87. She could have retired at 80, with a Democratic president, and lived on her laurels. For some reason, ego, prestige, priviledge, she stayed on till it was to late. Maybe she was not as great as they claim.

Frank Ernesto, you should be ashamed of yourself for speaking ill of the dead. "The Latin phrase De mortuis nihil nisi bonum (also De mortuis nil nisi bene [dicendum]) “Of the dead, [say] nothing but good”, abbreviated as Nil nisi bonum, is a mortuary aphorism, indicating that it is socially inappropriate to speak ill of the dead as they are unable to justify themselves. " from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_mortuis_nil_nisi_bonum.

FrankErnesto: This sad topic about the death of / and our collective loss of a wonderful jurist; Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsberg is now closed because you have invoked ’Godwin’s law’ (aka: Godwin’s rule of Hitler analogies). "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1 . "
