What else is new, this is the same mayor who signed a bill to raise the property taxes between 34% to 37% depending where you live. The people revolted and got enough signatures to put it up for a vote in a special election. Would you be surprised that he is a democrat?
If you follow the links to FOX17 in Nashville on this story you will find “Page Not Found”
But you will find this:
Phil Williams tweet BREAKING: @FOXNashville retracts report accusing @JohnCooper4Nash of a cover-up in reporting #COVID19 numbers for Nashville bars. “We don’t have evidence of a cover-up and apologize for the error.” This after @DonaldJTrumpJr and @TuckerCarlson made the story go viral.
Hey Little Mikey Lester, I don’t know if you’ve heard that a Supreme Court judge died yesterday and that Trump and McConnell are rushing to fill the vacancy before the election unlike four years ago when McConnell said that the next president should be allowed to pick the replacement.
What’s on the menu tomorrow for a cartoon that will be another ‘killer’ political cartoon ? Another Trump gathering with the gullible spreading a virus? The release of Trump’s income taxes sooner than expected? Fox News telling not to call them? . . Trump lowering the flag to half mast someplace for nobody he ever heard of . . . /s
GOP: DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO! Don’t you realize by now, we’re all so desperate and Lilly livered cowards and we will do ANYTHING to get what WE want! ? Using the constitution for TP is their normal…….
And here in DC, where we haven’t had a single COVID death in weeks, we are still regaining some kind of normalcy. We’re still in Phase Two, so our hair and nail salons are still appointment only (no walk-ins), our gyms are open (albeit with social distancing guidelines), restaurants and cafes are open for outdoor (and limited indoor) dining, and our stores are largely open (provided you wear masks and social distance). I’m just saying that it’s telling that the red states that locked down too late and reopened too early found themselves smacked with spikes and surges during the summer (i.e. FL, AZ, TX, etc., which are thankfully heading downward again as people resume common sense precautions) while blue states that bit the bullet and had been carefully reopening (NY, NJ, MA, etc.) have been doing quite well this summer. So, I am hopeful that during the fall we can avoid a “second wave” and be able to move into Phase Three and be able to start vaccinating health care workers and people in high risk groups (the elderly, diabetics, etc.) by Dec. or Jan. (with the general public later). In the meantime, the CDC (and Dr. Fauci) have stated that short of a total nationwide lockdown (similar to China, South Korea, Australia, etc.), which NO ONE wants at this point, wearing masks, social distancing, and basic hygiene is our best protection against COVID until we’ve achieved herd immunity through vaccines and treatments.
Here is SOMEONE who died in Nashville. Whether you agreed with his politics or not, he was still a husband and father. No one can replace him far as his family is concerned.

You can’t make people go into places where there’s a high risk of getting infected.

Before it’s over we may have more than 200,000 “voluntary evacuations”.
