My friends in Germany are quite vocal at the disgust they feel about the rethugican power grab in the SCOTUS. Not just because of the breaking of laws, or lack of fairness. This woman has not been honorably buried yet and the hyenas are already tearing at her corpse politically . They see it as further evidence that whatever moral leadership America had went down the toilet, and the nation is rapidly devolving into facism. Americans may not know their history that well, but the Germans are keenly sensitive to it. It’s interesting listening to others across the pond.
A woman who had a long and happy marriage. A woman who lived her life by a code respecting the rights of all Americans. A woman to be greatly admired and missed.
This is the first time I ever recall seeing someone actively try to recruit people to brigade the message board of another comic strip. I can’t stand Mallard Fillmore either- not since I first ran across it in the early ’90s. It is for that reason that I personally avoid that strip and the editorial ones by cartoonists like Michael Ramirez. But invading their message boards to leave downvotes or flag commenters seems to be a waste of time.
