What’s the only thing worse than biting into an apple and finding a worm? Biting into an apple and finding HALF a worm!

I was told you have to eat the fortune cookie before reading the fortune for it to come true, which I took to mean you ate the paper too, so you didn’t know your fortune, which is life.

In 1971 I got a fortune cookie with TWO fortunes: “You will take a trip and meet interesting people” and “a new love is coming into your life”. The next day I went on a backpacking trip in Yosemite Park with a group organized by my roommate; I’m still married to one of the women in that group!

“Fortune cookies” are a strictly American product.

Well, it’s probably rice paper, so hopefully it’s digestible, but you’ll likely want more in an hour…

You have to break Fortune Cookies open carefully on the table before eating them, Karma! Luckily, paper in small quantities is not a digestive problem….

Don’t forget to add “Between the Sheets” to whatever the fortune says to get the true meaning.

I cannot think of any way to eat a fortune cookie withoug Breaking it at some point, even if you plan to eat the fortune.

Once the Cookie meets the Teeth, it’s going to Break.

Unless you have a Serious Dental Emergency going on.
