Yup, Biden is responsible for those fatalities. They had nothing to do with the lies W told to cause them. By the way, W is the second stupidest president. The Rump is the most stupid and most dangerous. Of course you want the Rump to win, right Rall?

    200,000 COVID deaths, Ted.

More than any of those wars — and all the latest came from a Bush.

You may have forgotten, but both Bushes were Republicans.

Whatever you want to say about Biden, he’s still far, far better than the Tangerine Traitor.

    Stop spinning your wheels, Ted!

Look at it this way, Ted. If Trump wins, he will consider it a mandate to try and put troops in the streets to eliminate dissent. If Trump loses, he will consider it an excuse to try and put troops in the streets to eliminate dissent. He is less likely to get conservative extremists riled up about Sleepy Joe than he would for Firebrand Saunders.

Yep, it was a jacked up war, as have been most of them. Maybe, we have learned a lesson.

The point is that Trump is destructive. Anyone would be an improvement. Biden may not be the candidate of your dreams- or mine- but he is unlikely to mess the world up as completely as Trump has. I’d like to have Warren or Bernie, but I can’t. Now the choice is to grow up, accept reality and settle for the best you can get— and that is not Trump.

For all those negative commenters, I suggest storing away all these Biden cartoons for after the election, then refer to them when fighting back against all the horrible policies that Republicans pioneered and Democrats slavishly joined in on.

No, Rall’s got him. The US military has been killing people throughout the entire history of this country and there isn’t a President with clean hands. So maybe Rall’s concern has to do with the victims. It must be ok if it’s war in Bosnia or Kosovo; just not in Iraq or Afghanistan; except post 9/11 of course. Otherwise, Rall would have to include Sanders in his criticism.

OK Ted, you win. I give up. Just find me a candidate who never, ever voted for something that turned out to be a bad thing.

I appreciated the fact that we got another side of the political story. (even though you support Trump who is very much the most buffoonish self centered lying ..shall I go on?) But, when you make fun of the tragedies in Biden’s life you have reached a new low. Disgusting.

I think that Ted Rall is right here, actually. We should very much apologize for our foreign policy failures, such as wars and coups. But you know what the difference between Democrats and Republicans is?

Democrats actually have the decency to do such things. It was the Republicans who criticized Obama’s “apology tour”.

Ted; I have been following your work for many years and have noticed a disturbance in the force. Your loss back in February has deeply affected you. I sincerely hope you talk to someone.

Ted is a known liar. And he IS “that guy” who sows discord. But he’s got a forum here that is legal and proper. So we should allow him the same amount of freedom that we allow any other cartoonist who Go Comics will publish. And, of course, he must allow us to comment just as freely. Though I know that at least one cartoonist has turned off comments. Don’t know how. Do know why: He was tired of all the discord and ranting.

The U.S. had a responsibility to go into Afghanistan after the 9/11 attack when the Afghan government, the Taliban, refused us access to al Qaeda, that they had given safe harbor to. We overthrew the Taliban in about 90 days, and went after bin Laden’s al Qaeda. Our mission and the entire point of going to Afghanistan was to get those who had attacked us. We had most of the world’s support in this.

Then Bush2 announced that getting the one who planned the 9/11 attack was not his priority. It was moved to the ‘back burner’ and Iraq became the target.

The intel presented to both houses of congress was ‘cooked’, fabricated by the Bush2 Admin and our Brit allies under PM Tony Blair.

No member of congress had any reason to doubt what was presented to them in sworn testimony. Those who falsified the intel are responsible.

Bush2 and Republican/conservatives who get s into these disasters should have been held responsible and prosecuted. The deaths are all on them.

Um…George Bush? Wasn’t he the president who started the wars. Why is Biden accused of being the president when he wasn’t and isn’t?

Why are all these people so mad at Rall? It’s clear that he’s not going to talk them into not voting for Biden. So it must be that they’re afraid that Rall will win over to his point of view people less intelligent than themselves. This touching anxiety about the susceptibility of others is, alas, all too common among liberals and is one reason why Trump is president.

A large majority of those fatalities in both Iraq and Afghanistan were not directly due to Americans but to Afghans killing Afghans and Iraqis killing Iraqis. Both countries have a long history of religious/tribal hatred that was only restrained by ruthless dictators such as Saddam or the Talliban. It is true the US destabilized both countries which led to the intra-country warfare / deaths by removing said dictators, but was removing Saddam bad? It is much like the violence in the former Yugoslavia once Tito died there was no one to prevent the Serbs/Croatians to resume their centuries old feuds. Or was the break-up of the British/French/Belgian colonies in Africa bad? Since it led to ethnic violence and many deaths (mainly due to poorly drawn national boundaries)
