I’m seeing posts in another social medium claiming that the REAL problem is forest mismanagement (by which they mostly mean “not enough harvesting and not enough control of lower story growth”). That allows them to say that the forests aren’t burning because of climate change. And they have part of it right (in my opinion): BECAUSE of climate change it is even more important to manage forests to minimize wildfires. Of course they’re unwilling to hear anything so … nuanced … as “both things are problems.” But that’s the way it is for people who prefer to “think they’re thinking” by listening to an authority.

If we vote Blue in November, we might just end up with a president who knows the difference between weather and climate.

Of course it’s all a hoax, perpetrated by those scientists who concluded after all those experiments that carbon dioxide inhibits the release of heat, that it was a great way to con the government, and the people in general. . . What a bunch of hoaxers, those scientists!

fortunately, since we seem to be on course to end up like our sister planet, they’ve discovered that there might be (maybe, perhaps…) life in venus’ atmosphere – start learning how to breathe sulfuric acid…

A $4 billion bill meant to deal with Oregon problems including forest management for fire was voted down by republicans. Loss of $15 billion in lumber.

Those pants on fire finally forced Scientific American to endorse Joe Biden. They’ve never endorsed anyone since starting in 1845.

All Trump supporters have a collection of Velcro patches, with the usual Trump sayings; such as “Climate Change, Democrat, Leftist, Chinese Virus”, etc. To be placed over the word “Hoax”.

The climate is changing.. as it does/has since time began. We.. are.. polluting our home planet and that needs to be dealt with.. The hoax is using climate change as an excuse to clean it up. But if it works… probably a good thing.. but still a hoax.

The focus on the horrors of The Teump Show are so preoccupied and focused by the need to feed confirmation bias that the anti-maskerism and climate change denialism have becomes totemic. The diplomatic mediation of the media leaves gross evidence of climate change out of the spotlight in a period of frightening daily evidence.Last year morthern Norway had California style forest gires raging at the Arctic circle. This year Siberia hit 100.4 degrees before setyling down to a balmy 84 degrees. A couple weeks ago a mammoth was pulled out of the permafrost with fresh meat on its bad half. This week a cave bear that has been extinct for 16,000 years was found is such perfect condition that even its nose was in pristine shape.Methane has begun exploding through the vegetative mass in massive explosions in remote locations. In the past two weeks a 55 meter deep cavity was found. In addition to Greenland’s and western Anctartica’s shelving problems, Antarctica, too, is discharging a stream of methane. As The Amazon and California burn and the U.S. oil industries 1972 predictions come true, the cause is dying in darkness.Simply comparing CO2 levels since the Industrial Revolution should suffice to identify human activity as the cause. It seems all we have is Greta Thunberg, and a bleak future.

Why would anyone expect an eejit who’d never lived outside his NYC asphalt blocks to grasp the concept of natural bio systems? Of course the forest must be raked! Who would expect The Donald to learn any thing every ten year old knows? Bullies werent also grade school valedictorians. Pity the fool and vote him the heck out!
