When all the experts are pointing out the necessity to be honest in government evaluations and directives, the dishonesty of the Trump administration is a blatant example of why this is recommended procedure. Coming up on 200,000 dead and still no honesty.
OK, so Trump lied to us. But, it is dishonest to say that we didn’t know the Trump plague was a serious problem. The news media was telling us it was, and also telling us that Trump was lying. The people who believe Trump instead of the “lame stream media” were the only ones who didn’t realize that we were in a lot of trouble in early February. And, I actually doubt that they didn’t know it too. They just demonstrated that they will follow Trump right into their own graves.
As another step toward Rampant Authoritarianism Trump has repeatedly praised the killing of a “supposed” antifa gunman in Washington!
This puts him on an equal footing with Duterte, the authoritarian strongman of the Philippines!
Evedently the whole idea of “innocent until PROVEN guilty” no longer plays well if you’re on the president’s “enemies” list – of course we had an inkling of thart in 2016 with his “Lock Her Up” chants – but this is Trump condoning extra-legal murder!
This is orders of magnitude more criminally lawless!
