My mom’s dog accidentally caught a squirrel. It didn’t take her long to figure out what to do with it.

Oh no marilynnbyerly I love the squirrels and luckily our animals were OK with them. Even later years with Brandy and Alex they would run to the tree bark at them and the squirrels went on to the neighbors yard.

It’s unusual for Red to be concerned about the beautiful squirrels that Rover chases. I like all squirrels whether Red or Grey or Black or White. There may be other colours of squirrel but I know those four.

Rover likes Red but also likes chasing red squirrels.

My dogs are allowed to chase the squirrels in our yard. It discourages raiding of the bird feeder. Squirrels have been caught and dispatched but lately, my dogs have figured out that once killed, the game is no longer fun. I watched as one squirrel ended up in the jaws of doom, just to be released to be chased some more! When dogs are being walked on a leash, squirrel chasing is NOT an option.

The squirrel runs away. The other is always stored unless eaten.

You can tell what is more prioritous (and I know that isn’t exactly a word) for Rover! But squirrels can carry harmful bacteria. Just sayin’! Love you guys anyway and your antics!

As a kid, I took a small bite of a milk bone, to see what it tasted like. It was a combination of YUCK, UGH, and BLAH.
