While Honeymoon and Annie are “new” characters, this kind of feels like the Archie version of Dick Tracy.

I can almost hear Honey’s voice warbling…

Meanwhile… the Tracyville Police Union is working with former aides to congresswoman Bellowthon to file a grievance that Tracy is using an unpaid alien to handle sensitive department research and (gasp!) she’s using a private server to handle her e-mails. \(°□°)/ INVESTIGATE!! INVESTIGATE!!

OMG!!! The vampire fans are talking about blood sucking methods in a public forum? Very stupid vampires!

I notice that Honeymoon is speaking to her laptop, while Tracy is speaking to his wrist geenee. I thought the geenees were on a closed network, and you needed one to speak to another. Of course Honeymoon does have one, but she doesn’t appear to be using it.

I was hoping that Brenda Starr would be more involved and hands on.

1-BLONDIE: WE’VE GOT EXCITING NEWS, POP POP!

3-Meanwhile, Sergeant McAvoy comes off patrol to answer what he knows will be another false alarm from the “hypervigilant” Tracy.

SERGEANT: Gosh and Begorrah, these stairs get steeper every time Tracy thinks he’s being attacked in the Station House. Aii, look on the bright side McAvoy – maybe there’s a crème-filled left from this morning’s Roll Call…

Fourth day of talking heads. Guest appearance by Svengoolie tomorrow. Seems like we’re at the point in the (so far pretty good) story where things start to bog down and descend into talking heads and 2-panel stretch days (or other stretching—yesterday and today could, with some simple editing, have been one strip—unnecessary first panel yesterday and unnecessary last panel today and dialogue tells us what we already know and offers unnecessary pleasantries).

Isn’t Tracy still at the police station? Surely he can talk to Honey Moon on his wrist wizard and access his desktop computer at the same time.

Pop Pop Tracy confirms what I suggested yesterday, that this may be a valuable lead in tracking down the Vampire-Killer. Let us hope that Tracy can get to Stokes before Stokes gets to Hope and Charity Brown—though I have a bad feeling that one if not both may not survive….

Hmm… will the MCU need a “cyber crimes” division?
