Panic? It is about PANIC?

If a captain of a sinking ship really had wanted to calm people down to prevent a panic, even by “softening” the facts, they would have been like a Titanic captain who, knowing the ship was going down, would tell people, “Stay calm, we’re fine, but please, slowly, carefully put on your life preserver and move slowly but steadily to the lifeboats — we’re going to be fine, it’s just a precaution, but please, everyone, put on your life preserver and move to the lifeboats just to play it safe.”

What Trump did instead was tell everyone, “We’re fine.” But then instead of calmly encouraging rescue measures like putting on the life preserver and going to the life boats, “Go back to your staterooms. It is all a hoax. You don’t need no life boats and only pussies wear life preservers.”

He prefers to “play down” corona virus with such calming tweets as “Liberate Michigan!”

The man has his priorities, after all. Too bad they’re so dangerous for the rest of us.

And yet, person, woman, man, camera, TV.

The man is mentally unstable.

There are Lemon Laws on the books (to enable individuals to try and get redress for bad products, such as the Chevy Chevette or Runault Alliance, as an adjunct to class actions). Perhaps it’s time to write Orange Laws (to enable “the people” to get rid of bad Presidents, such as Ol’ Punkinhead, as an adjunct to impeachment/conviction and Amendment 25).

It’s just a matter of numbers.. 200,000 dead (and counting) against the millions that will die as the suburbs are overrun by Antifa.. The millions of babies aborted… The millions killed in gun battles as Biden attempts to take away your guns. trump knows his people and knows selective panic is absolutely necessary.

The American people have a right to hear the truth from their president. If we choose to panic, that is our right. Suppose a woman in late January had panicked. What would she do? Maybe put off going to the store where she caught the Trump Plague- put off going to a party that night and church on Sunday where she passed along the plague to people there who passed it on to others who did the same and etc etc etc. Trump lied to us to protect his ratings. He had cut the pandemic response team that Obama set up in 2014 out of the budget in 2018, and now we were going to see the results. The only person he lied to protect was Donald J Trump.

Prevent a panic? Do you think so little of the American People? The only panic I’ve seen is on Wall Street and at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. When it comes to spreading fear and panic and despair, Mr. Trump, you are the master of that deal.

He declared a war on the virus; he declared himself a wartime president in response to the virus; then he went AWOL. But, worse, he committed war crimes, personally and in his command responsibility, he gave aid and comfort to the enemy. Those war dead are his responsibility.

The “keeping it a secret as to not create a panic” only works if you are actively working to solve the threat… note that wishing it magically disappears is NOT actively working to solve the threat.
