Ramirez IGNORES the fact that, at least three times in recent days, Trump told his minions to vote by mail and then go vote in person. You know, to make sure that the election is not rigged>
Yes Ramirez, standing for several hours in line, then walking into a potentially crowded room is risky. Hmm, what could be an easy way to avoid that? Those who know, mail it.
I use clear plexiglass in the prototypes I build, but COVID-19 has raised the price and shortened the supply as stores are using it and wearing masks to protect their customers from their coughs, sneezes, speaking … to keep their business going.
Ramirez and the other Trump Disciples HATE anything and everything about political correctness.
Mainly because they cannot use the n-word like they did back when America was Great, before them liberal activist judges ruled that Those People were actually human beings and, worse, citizens and had the right to vote, just like Real Americans.
One problem is that there are not enough poll workers. Usually, it’s older people who work the elections, and they are in the vulnerable group. It should be easy to vote. The President and his family vote by mail, but he doesn’t want the rest of us to be able to. Yet some people continue to buy his two faced lies.
Hey you Trump haters. The mask keeps a person from touching the face, mouth, etc. with the hands, thereby infecting yourself. As far as stopping the microscopic particles of the virus from hitting you even you idiots should be able to figure that out. Can’t wait for the election to stop the foolishness.
I’m a senior citizen and have a compromised immune system. Getting COVID is probably a death sentence for me. Fortunately, I live in Colorado and have Voted-by-Mail for years. It’s safe, protected and has produced the highest voter turnout percentages in the U.S. This cartoon misrepresents the states that have done this successfully for years.
For all the RW posting about mask use here: First, the wide presence of asymptomatic carriers of the virus is the major reason for everyone to wear a mask. You are not protecting yourself any more than you are protecting everyone from you as an unwitting source of infection. Second, studies have shown that masks, properly used can decrease spread from infected individuals by up to 90% and spread to uninfected individuals by about 60%. Finally, the rate of infection is dependent on the dose exposure. A short time or outdoors exposure is much safer than long time, indoor exposure. It’s not rocket science, folks, it’s just regular science and common sense.
Even if standing in line is relatively safe (which it isn’t, if you’re there for hours, as could be the case) voting by mail from home is easier and safer. In CO, we have universal mail-in voting. If we can do it, anyone else can, too.
You will notice that no one else is standing in line around him. The danger with standing in line to vote is that most precincts will have crowds in line.
Standing in line around a crowd for a long period of time is more dangerous than a brief encounter with a few people around to buy necessities. For example, I shop for food early in the morning when there are fewer people around. Otherwise, I’m at my property almost all the time, rarely talking, let alone encountering any other human beings.
No. HoHo’s are not offensive to prostitutes. Ask Santa if you need help with that. What would be offensive is muttering that under your breath in their presence.

Why isn’t she wearing a mask? Only idiots work in contact with the public without at least trying to protect themselves.

The actual question is not whether it is safe to vote in person, the question is why should you be forced to vote in person if you don’t feel safe.
