Before I bought a “white noise” machine, I would tune my radio to static between stations. One night, I got blasted out of bed by a “fire and brimstone” preacher. Apparently, weather conditions had allowed a signal to reach my radio. Needles to say, I never did that again… ☺

I had one with ocean sounds, rain, etc. About 15 minutes into each track there’d be a gull screeching, a Crack of lightning, or some other load noise.
