    Where do the virgins come from? Funny no one seems to ask. There are other questions they fail to clarify before smashing planes into sky scrapers….

    How old are the virgins? Did they die virgins because they were so very ugly, or because they were nagging shrews? Are they real virgins or born-again virgins?

    The list goes on and on and on.

    Religions don’t lend themselves to questions or critical thinking. If that were the case then, well there’d be much fewer followers.

    You can find any number of articles that say that the translation of the word “hur” is taken to be virgins, but probably meant “white grapes” if the original language was Aramic.
