My ex-boss, a guy named Louis DeJoy (name might sound familiar), is immortalized by having funded a $1 million building for St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church.
He’s convinced he is going to heaven because of it. The building is named after him instead of some religious figure. Or then again, the congregation venerates him as a religious figure.
My church is getting “refugees” from Pius X because of the Pro-Trump messages coming from the pulpit.
OT: Last night my wife and I were eating dinner on our screened in back porch when we heard the news on TV about Ginsburg’s death. Several minutes later we could hear our neighbors “mourning” her death with fireworks.
Lord, give me the strength to forgive their Christian hearts. As for actually loving them, can we settle on the Hippocratic Oath: “First do no harm.”
