There was a character on an old football-themed TV show called Where’s Huddles? by the name of Freight Train. I didn’t know that name was a football term until now.

The last two Sundays’ strips have really impressed me at how lethal in football Patty is while she’s still wearing flip-flops. Imagine if she was shod in more appropriate footwear…

Reminds me of the old Pepsi TV adds somehow…..

Snoopy’s head is down. He launched himself. He hit her in the neck/shoulders area. Clearly this strip was from the pre-Targeting days. Charlie Brown is more what they are looking for now.

D*gs are supposed to be loyal friends Snoopy … perhaps you’ve forgotten who feeds you and takes care of you.

Snoopy has been to numerous Super Bowls – usually on a blimp, though.

It reminds me of the time I was pushed into playing football and didn’t know how, around this time in 1967.
