They have no platform. Trump doesn’t do policy. He only does what his gut tells him will benefit him directly. His cronies follow his example. His enablers in the Senate do whatever will keep them in power. They are not interested in governing, only in obstructing.
Instead of a red carpet, there should be a row of red senators lying down to make a pathway to his throne to keep his golf shoes from getting as dirty as his intent.
Last year he was gloating and twinkling that in his second term “We’re going to play around with Social Security and Medicare A little bit!” He’s already played around with the use of military force to “dominate” civilian protest. Four more years of Barr and Jared and Mnuchin? God help us.
For those who missed civics class: A demagogue or rabble-rouser is a leader who gains popularity in a democracy by exploiting emotions, prejudice, and ignorance to arouse some against others, whipping up the passions of the crowd and shutting down reasoned deliberation. Demagogues overturn established norms of political conduct, or promise or threaten to do so.

Anything they put up as a platform could conflict with what their master Trump will say, so best to have no platform.

They haven’t had a platform since 2012, and unless they get out from under Il Douche, they never will again.

Any political party’s “Platform” is merely a statement of their “aspirations” – their hope for the future!
And, trust me, their would be NO WAY the republicans could put into writing their/Trump’s asperations. First, it would be graphically profane.
Secondly, it would scare away too many possible voters!
So not having a Republican Party Platform is actually a “good” thing.
