Awww, Nate. There’s no dignity left.

Have to say, for punching this out on the fly like he’s doing, he is a very good writer.

This is my impression of high school girls having a conversation: “Ooooooh! Look at Georgie!” Giggle, Giggle. “He’s SO hot! Right, girls?” “YES!!!!” Giggle, Giggle. “I want to KISS HIM!!!” “You? No way. He’s MINE.” Giggle, Giggle. “No, He’s MINE!” “HE’S MINE!!!!” “MINE!!!” MINE!!!!!!!!! I know this isn’t how they ACTUALLY act, but this is what first pops up into my mind when i hear “High School Girls”

Actually, this looks like a very good report!

That kind of books always seemed, to me, like they weren’t really an accurate representation of actual high school girls, but you were still supposed to regard them as one. A bit like how old ladies in cartoons usually have the same sort of voice, which doesn’t really sound like actual old ladies.

Poor, poor, Nate.

I remember Classics Illustrated comic books. Best way to read and write a book report.

Imagine having to write this.

I have a big nate theory. It’s that Nate and everybody is in a constant time loop. But they still get older, but there is a certain date (unknown) where they all age back a year, so they’re stuck in repeat forever. But there might be a way to break it?

Should this be the book report?

I’m going to guess what’s going to happen, we’re going to get maybe 1-2 more strips of him writing it he turns it in then the teacher is going to read his report because it was such a good report, embarrassing him in front of everyone

Nate, it would be easier on everyone if you just didn’t turn anything in. I mean, it’s not like it would make a difference with your grade.

The comment section has mostly heal back to when there no mean people like in the old comics.

BIG NATE AND THE BOOK REPORT

Ms. Clarke: All right class! Before we turn in our book reports, we will all share them with everyone! Nate, can you come up and read yours to us?

Nate: groans fine…

*Nate slouches over to the front of the class holding his book report. He stands in front of the class and looks at his book report for a second

Nate: For my book report, I have wrote about “The Cheerleader Chronicles: Pom Pom Problems”…

After class, some kids come up to Nate who watched him read his book report

Kid 1: Hey dude, nice book report. snickers

Kid 2: Yeah! I never knew you were into girls’ books!

The kids walk away from Nate, laughing at him. Some girls come up to Nate, who also watched him read his book report

Girl 1: Hiiiii Nate! We never knew you were into girls’ books!

Girl 2: Want to hang out with us after school?

Nate: yay

Shouldn’t it be “I can’t believe…”?

Rule #1 for writing a girls book: it should always start with a lip-gloss slumber party.

I don’t believe that there is a big Nate show coming to Nickelodeon

Good news for Big Nate a movie and show our coming out, the movie is coming out on May 7, 2020. And a show is coming to Nickelodeon! In a news release, Nickelodeon’s executive vice president of animation production and development, Ramsey Naito, stated that she wanted to adapt the Big Nate book series into an animated series for a long time.The series was announced by Nickelodeon on February 19, 2020.The series does not have a scheduled air date, although it will air in 2020–21. The series will be CG-animated.

Well Nate, it’s your own dang fault for not getting started earlier.

Another improvement, though this one is a lot more realized than other nate-typing strips as the punchline is more focused on how inane the story really is with a bit of a sarcastic edge instead of just a challenge to see how many creative insults can be crammed into a strip. I just hope this idea doesn’t stretch over multiple days… B+.
