Sounds like my family’s motto: “Your best is not good enough”.

Live your life as best as you can and don’t worry so much. A smile would certainly help.

Glad to see he’s got a post it note reminding him to get those TPS reports out.

If you are doing and trying your best, you can do no more. Time to take a break and head for Cat’s Cafe.

Oh, yeah! The parental crazy-maker! “I did the best I could!” “Well, that best wasn’t good enough.” So, do I continue to drive myself crazy and get nothing from it but “it’s not good enough”, or do I just quit and still get told it’s not good enough? Cut yourself some slack, my lil green froggy pal, it sure looks like you DID do everything right. Go see Cat, have some coffee and conversation…and some chocolate covered…ants and reeelllaaaxxx.
