Stim Torms One time I sang a note that was 9 octaves below the lowest g on a piano.

Did they get any laughs off that candy bar?

One time I found a termite mound that was 3,821 years old.

Take care and may God bless.

Aquela colônia brasileira de cupins vai dar carpinteiros pesadelos.

(That Brazilian termite colony is going to give carpenters nightmares.)

My termite colony under plexiglass only has 27 termites. There were 30, but four of them were soldiers. Such a small colony only needs one.

Nature can be frugal and efficient and ruthless. The excess soldier pheromones in their atmosphere triggered the rest of the termites to kill and eat three of the soldiers.

This made sense in the termite economy: Soldiers cannot feed themselves because their huge jaws, though functional as weapons, are use less for digging in solid wood. So the rest of the colony was losing valuable energy (calories) in collecting and pre-digesting wood to feed the soldiers.

Sorry, Tim Storms — down “that low” the individual beats may be heard. The lowest C on the piano beats around 32 per second; the C below that (most pianos only go to A below) beats about 16 per second and the human ear hears it as beats, not an actual tone. You don’t sing; you belch.

Perhaps BOJO could be drugged and stolen away to the Brazilian termite colony where he could wake to adoring termite queen(s) and proceed with Terexit.

I preferred them when they were Marathon bars.

Tim Storms: Frequencies that low are heard as individual events rather than a tone.

As impressive as that is, I don’t think there will ever be a need for anyone to sing that low!

So that termite colony is apparently safer than the indigenous tribes in Brazil.

    Take care and gesundheit.

I can go lower than Tim Stroms. It’s so low no one can hear it. It’s been really tough trying to get it verified.

Not possible for his voice to be 8 octaves below the lowest G, which has a frequency of about 48. 8 octaves below that would put the frequency at about 0.1, or 1 beat every 10 seconds.
