I used to have the Atari 2600 console, now I have the handheld version, with about 80 built-in games. I also have original Nintendo, Super Nintendo (neither are hooked up), Game Boy Advance (with a color screen) and Nintendo DL.
I ported the source code for five variations on Rogue over 20 years of being in the QA loop for new versions of Solaris and MacOS X:“Go away—I’m testing I/O”“You’re killing trolls”“That too”
I’m to old to have had any video games. I don’t remember my kids having one either. My grandchildren sure do though. Now I play games on my computer or phone if I’m out and waiting for someone. Much prefer the computer because I have a large screen so it’s easier to see and doesn’t hurt my eyes so much.

Too bad you didn’t have one of the old Apple computers with a dial up modem or a Radio Shack TRS80. You could have gotten some prices for them now.

I gave up on video games after Mario saved the princess
Spent way to much time getting him there and did not want to put my family through that again with another game
Besides, playing video games cuts into my comic reading time

I don’t play them much, though.

I have never played a electronic game. Nothing against ’em, just played outdoors…
