The way things are going they may have to reconsider finishing the season. It seems that many players, afflicted with testosterone poisoning, believe they can’t get sick. How’s that working out for the Marlins right now? I’m a baseball fan and it’s really weird seeing games played in empty stadiums.
I shed a tear when they put lights in Wrigley Field. I saw Nolan Ryan pitch. I love an afternoon in the sun at a minor league park. However, no we are not ready for spectators and yes, teams need to listen better. Example: Formula 1 racing is a huge money sport and they still cancelled races as recently as a few weeks ago. The teams and officials are being very, very careful. But even they’ve had cases of Coronavirus. All travel sports can spread the virus easily but worse than that, they give people a feeling that the virus has passed, that it’s OK to go back to no masks and crowds. No, it ain’t over. Lives should not be on the line simply for a game.

Seems to be a common theme. I’ve seen this particular cartoon three, four times already from different cartoonists.

We are seeing how society values profit over the well being of those who generate it.

you know that the plan’s not going very smoothly when more games are postponed due to covid-19 than due to rain…
