I worked at a place when I first got out of college that gave us a frozen turkey for Christmas, place made lots of money but they were tighter than Jack’s hat band. At the same time my wife worked at a place that gave her a paperweight for a bonus. At least they were a non-profit organization.
I worked for the government. I got to work holidays. No gifts, ever. Would have really loved one turkey after a few decades. Milestones were xeroxed, no frame. What is a bonus?
