Unfortunately when you rip off the mask, you don’t find the brilliant but demented Dr. Crane, but the Cognitively functional, narcissistic illiterate whose only claim to fame is being able to lie and cheat then fail, and lie again.
One can get around statutes of limitations by issuing sealed indictments.
The State of NY has an active grand jury investigating Trump’s many state-level crimes and issuing sealed indictments. They now have all his financial paperwork, because they won the SCOTUS case for their subpoena.
Running out the clock won’t help you on those state crimes, buddy.
And delaying the election won’t change your term ending Jan 20.
If we haven’t had an election, or you have litigated the election results to keep them from being final, by then – you and Pence are out and Nancy Pelosi takes over in the interim.
Trump can neither change the election date nor can he stop people voting by mail (which is perfectly safe), what he can do is refuse to do anything about the “Trump Virus” which will keep it going through the election, thereby necessitating a truly massive mail-in vote- This will stress the Post Office to breaking, thereby slowing the vote count.
This will allow Trump to charge voting irregularities which might take months, if not years to resolve since he will take EVERY complaint to the Supreme Court.
If he could delay the election, it would just mean more MAGA’s will not be on the voter registration polls—surprised he hasn’t thought of pushing them up!
