The problem with that is, if I do shut up about politics, and the nightmare continues for another four years and our nation is reduced to glowing embers, I’ll feel guilty that I didn’t do everything I could to stave off the apocalypse. Just 94 days. Then I’ll shut up, because either we’ll have a shot to return to some semblance of sanity and recover our standing as a rational partner on the world stage, or else nothing I say will matter anyway.
