When I was little, the washing machine seemed like a great way to get clean, until I got to the spin cycle. My head is still spinning! (yes, I am kidding)
It sure ain’t the “Nightcap” she asked me in for. But seriously folk, I’ve always wanted a nightcap, and perhaps a candlestick to show my way to the pantry
But I like the new feature of being able to reply to a specific comment. If you hover over a comment the reply icon shows in the bottom right hand corner. I agree with you about Dogsniff LOL
Not only have some of us lost our avatars, now there isn’t even a notice saying that problem will be fixed. Are we to infer that the tech boyx have just thrown their hands up at that problem? (Testing, testing, testing to see if commas drop out here.)
Hello, I am new, but I have been following Calvin and Hobbes for I while now on this site via Gmail. I couldn’t take it anymore so I made an account and have started posting.
I don’t like not being able to edit my previous comments if I want to. Why was that option taken away? Is this what we’re now permanently ***stuck*** with??? If so, I don’t care for it very much!

Hi SUSAN NEWMAN
No, this isn’t Hobbes’s debut. They didn’t go quite all the way back to the beginning, so we are in week 4.

The resolution problem has finally been corrected. The strips now appear sharp instead of pixelated when you click on them to zoom them.

At least he didn’t come apart in the washing machine! G’Morning, Mike, Marg & Grog!

Squeaky clean huh Hobbes?
Dry and Dusty Premium Member almost 13 years ago
LOL Marg! Everyone who lost their avatars should change their names to that!
Puddleglum2 almost 13 years ago
Is ‘squeaky’ clean Hobbes a tiger or a mouse? If you see a mouse, are you ‘eeky’ clean? ( I know it’s bad!)

Hobbes is ‘all washed up’, but Calvin still can’t knock the stuffing out of him.

Sleep cap more like it.
cleokaya almost 13 years ago
I stand corrected marg!
musicnut1986 almost 13 years ago
I like how the date on the comic matches today’s date.
Ms. noavatar, I have no comment to say to you but just had to say something using your clever new name.

I hope Mom put Hobbes in the drier before he got into bed. Nothing worse than a wet tiger. And they get irritable, too.
ratlum almost 13 years ago
Mom called Hobbes a stuffed tiger,O the sadness in Calvin world .

The drawing is rather primitive. Almost stick figures. Seeral cartoon start out that way.

See? Now I can’t even load the rest of the comments.

Someone once said “if our parents know what’s best for us, why do they put me to bed when I’m wide awake and then wake me up when I’m tired?”.

Maybe “the rest of the comments” will work tomorrow, but it isn’t today. NEW AND IMPROVED!! But no improvement needed.

I can’t get go comics on Firefox either. I’m on IE now.

Why is it every time something becomes “new and improved” it only ends up making things worse?

Both C&H & Mom for that matter, look younger…Calvin can’t be over four years old! :-)
As for the ‘new’ GoComics format….seems less personal and inviting & looks unfinished. I vote for going back to the old!

So do I! (But I am just an old conservative fuddy.)
