Yes, the current evaluation of stocks on the market are, in the majority, not supported by the real data, PE ratios are way to high. The Fed is artificially propping up the economy.

And as long as the ones that I hold continue paying their dividends I don’t really care which direction the prices go. I have no intention of selling unless I am forced to do so.

Cute idea. Though Mad. Ave. deals also in very thoughtful use of all kinds of psychological triggers that (US) humans respond to, often without even noticing consciously.

On a completely different site… when the conversation turns political… someone likes to post an image of an elephant relieving himself. I keep expecting someone to create a statue of THAT and hoisting it up in Washington. But… with my luck… they will be disappointed that the smell is not realistic enough.

If there is an alien civilization looking at Earth, they would probably want to know if there is life on the planet. One way of doing this is the same way our scientists are attempting: look at the sunlight that passes through our atmosphere and analyze the spectrum.

If they did that, they would find that we have a higher than expected level of methane in our atmosphere. It should combine with the oxygen and eventually be depleted. Therefore, some process, very likely a biological one, must be replenishing the methane.

A significant part of methane production happens in the intestines of bovines. Therefore bullshit is proof of life on Earth.

Having worked in advertising and marketing for over 40 years, the statue says it best, it’s all Bull Shit!

I especially like the trash container on the receiving end of the business side of the bull.
