“Charmed” is Corina’s way of casting one of those spells that got her sent to Valley Modified. The rest of the summer’s strips will be devoted to Gil’s being knocked unconscious by his students’ poorly hit golf balls. Even the putts.

It would be hilarious if she did the opposite of Tru(e) and after having hung around Milford all summer decides to attend Valley Tech.

In panel 1 she should have glanced at Gil as she smart-assedly said “charmed” just before the baseball smashes into her face. This would make panels 2 and 3 unnecessary, and tomorrow would start a new (and hopefully interesting) story.

On the one hand, I am starting to like Corina Karenna. On the other hand, it would be hilarious if the first slider bounces off her dome.

I bet ‘real’ Wake fans just love how in the color version Tru(e)’s WFU shirt is sort of a cross between Carolina Blue and the darker blue that Duke wears.

Gil looking rather emaciated in P1. Tru(e) needs to take him on his buffet circuit. And speaking of buffets, you can gorge yourself on Mopped Up Thorp if you like. There’s a long history of strips to peruse!
