“QUICKLY DISPOSED OF THE EVIL WITCH DOCTOR”

Cop: Why did you kill him?

Big Jim: He was evil, duh.

Cop: How did you know he was evil?

Big Jim: I killed him, duh.

And then Jim Biggim raises his head and screams the call of the bull ape after a kill…

Wait, what? Tarzan is being rescued by a temporary character? Dang. Looks like last night’s whiskey was pretty strong.

Jim Biggim turned red with embarrassment. He had forgotten his platform shoes back in the cell and was shorter than the Pygmy.

For a pygmy, Weera was unusually tall.

About time a real man showed Tarzan how to kill someone half his size

Well, so far in this story line, the Ape-man has shown an uncanny knack for being captured, and now he’s being rescued. Hmm. Seems he’s playing the role of the smokin’-hot-but-ridiculously-inept heroine. If it turns out Jim Biggum (now, is that name a Freudian slip, or what?) is sweet on the big guy, don’t say I didn’t warn you. ;-)

Hmmm. Somewhere there’s the missing girl, the daughter mentioned in the dead man’s note. Jim has to look heroic to impress her even before they meet so she won’t be madly in love with Tarzan.

Jim is good with that spear! Where did he pick up jungle street fighting?

Don’t suppose he’ll go after Tarzan, now, do we? He might see Tarzan as a rival for the beautiful lady. I just don’t think it’s in ERB’s DNA to let Tarzan be rescued so easily.

Skewered Weera will make a fine side-dish along with Bolgani sandwiches and Kosher pickles! Did monkey-faced Biggim shrink, or did Weera grow suddenly? Celardo is losing his perspective!
